Winnie repairs

Wow, the proof is in the pudding, they say. On a recent trip to the RV dealer I needed about $2000 worth of repairs, including a new toilet and a lot fixed on my wiring after it nearly burned the rig down. Well, an adjuster was sent over that very day and the bill was paid minus the deductible and I am very happy. Just one major repair and I got my money back.

We've had the ext warranty for 2 years and this is the first time we've used it. We still had problems under the original coach warranty that were not charged. We never had any contact with the warranty people. What things weren't under warranty the Monaco service writers called and got payment for under this est warranty. Only the step (didn't work when we left for the factory) and the a heating element in the Aqua hot. They paid for part of those things. The charge was $750 ish, we paid $400 ish.

It worked out well, nothing major has broken for us to use the warranty.

I wouldn't be caught dead without one though.

We researched for an extended warranty protection plan and discovered that this product was almost half the cost the dealer had to offer.
